The Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing 175 megawatts (MW) of run-of-river hydropower capacity in Mindanao for its seventh Green Energy Auction (GEA-7), scheduled for March 2027, alongside additional capacity for Luzon, the Visayas, and impounding hydropower projects nationwide.
