The Department of Energy (DOE) is considering an initial 1% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) blending mandate by 2030 to help create demand and support the development of a local SAF industry, Energy Undersecretary Sandy Sales said on the sidelines of the ASEAN Energy Business Forum.
