The Philippines is targeting a 50% reduction in oil dependence by 2040 under its Fuel Transition Plan, Energy Secretary Sharon S. Garin said this during the joint opening of the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) and the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) in Manila.
