The Department of Energy (DOE) has thrown its support behind the Energy Regulatory Commission’s (ERC) regional application of the Secondary Price Cap (SPC), saying the measure will provide immediate protection to electricity consumers in the Visayas and Mindanao during periods of tight supply.
