Aboitiz Renewables Inc. has broken ground on its 239-megawatt peak (MWp) Luna solar power plant in Negros Occidental, which will expand its solar capacity to a total of 471-megawatt peak (MWp) and include a 65-megawatt (MW) battery energy storage system (BESS).
