Basic Energy Corp. plans to spend close to P1 billion in the second half of 2026 mostly to fund its equity participation in the 54.26-megawatt Cadiz 1 solar project in Negros Occidental, while the remainder will go toward pre-development work, including the 49.99-megawatt Mabini wind project in Batangas.
