MANILA, October 16—Power retailer Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) said Thursday it has deployed seven more scholars through its Filipino Scholars and Interns on Nuclear Engineering (FISSION) program to cultivate Filipino expertise for the planned entry of nuclear power into the generation mix starting in 2032.
