The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has outlined the proposed USD 175-million Philippine Geothermal Resource De-Risking Facility, which is designed to reduce the exploration risks and costs that have held back new geothermal investment in the country as energy self-sufficiency could fall to 39% by 2040.
